Jane W. Cobb received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Columbia University.
She obtained a post-graduate certificate in prosthetics from Northwestern University.
As a registered physical therapist she worked in public and private rehabilitation facilities specializing in amputee rehabilitation and management.
She was a department supervisor and head of an amputation clinic.
As a certified prosthetist, Jane worked in several different private practices as a staff prosthetist.
She spent five years as a clinical instructor of prosthetics at Boston-Bouve College of Human Development Professions, Northeastern University.
Jane is an member the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, and Massachusetts Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
She is the former president of the New England Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
