Amtower Biokinetics has always worked in coordination with the health team. We believe our patient management skills and written communications are what separate us from most orthotic and prosthetic facilities. We aim to provide quality care so that you do not have to spend your valuable time on issues that should have been resolved by the orthotic or prosthetic practitioner.

The quality of our care and the commitment to our patients might be best measured by the time we put into their care. Every new client receives an extensive evaluation, lasting from one to two hours. We use this time to get to know an individual and that individual's expectations and needs. We begin the education process and usually when the client leaves our office they have a reasonable and, perhaps, a more realistic understanding of prosthetics and orthotics as it relates to their individual circumstances.

The extensive evaluation is then written up into a prosthetic or orthotic treatment plan. This plan outlines current needs, specific recommendations and a rationale behind those recommendations, and a projection of future needs. The written consultation is then sent to the client, the prescribing physician and any other person as directed by the client. We feel the time spent with the evaluation and consultation process eliminates, as much as possible, false expectations as well as keeps everyone as informed and educated as possible.
